$170,000 for brain cancer research

December 1, 2014

This year’s Beach Walk4BrainCancer Manly attracted 1,800 walkers and raised over $170,000 for brain cancer research.

The Alleasing team raised more than $13,000 and with Alleasing matching this effort dollar for dollar, the team contributed more than $26,000 to an exceptional cause.

According to Robert Spano, Chief Executive Officer, Alleasing is delighted to have been part of this event, raising both awareness for the cause and funds to support research.

“With brain cancer currently the most underfunded and understudied of all cancers, the Alleasing team is delighted to have been able to provide much needed funds, which will be channelled into research,” said Mr Spano.

Alleasing is one of a number of sponsors that supported the event, allowing event costs to be covered and ensuring all proceeds raised go directly to research.
